T. Catt

An outstanding talent from the majority of online artists is the artist T. Catt.

His pseudonym is dedicated as a homage to the comic character "Bill the Cat". T. Catt is a "typical" representative of the new media and forms of communication; in other words, the Internet. Like many other artists, T. Catt has published his first attempts on the internet; better known as in the user net. Since 1996 he has been playing with like-minded people in the channel "alt. binaries. pictures. erotica. cartoons". Very quickly his talent as a artist was noticed and the fans demanded more and more supplies. For several years he enjoyed the "fame" of the user community there.

But after a few years, the climate in the user network deteriorated. Spams, Trolls and "Flame-Wars" denied many people the fun of exchanging with fans and like-minded people.

During this time T. Catt was less and less seen in the user-net and he shifted his free time to his private life. He graduated from college, moved to a "big city" and worked there as a freelance illustrator. His enthusiasm for the "comeroticas" fell asleep in this phase of his life.

This changed around the year 1999, when T. Catt discovered the "Yahoo Groups". This new congregation of like-minded people spurred him on to draw erotica again. There he found new friends and soon his own homepage was created. From the year 2000 onwards, he was looking for two collaborators to transform his black-and-white drawings into colorful gems for his drawings. This is how the artists T. Catt, Oni and Miravi found each other. The designers Creecher and Roadkill joined the creative trio and together they form the core of CattHouse Studios.

The advantage of the Internet groups is the immediate feedback and the artistic freedom of the presentable. Secret (fan) desires as well as personal preferences can take on pictorial forms without compulsion. Figures of the comic and movie world are sent into erotic adventures and scenes, without being subject to restrictive copyrights. Thus erotic illustrations by female marvellous characters will certainly not find a publisher for an officially printed book. But in the "free" WorldWideWeb such a publication is no problem (at least not yet).

Similar to Zimmerman's works, T. Catt has a wonderfully clean, anatomically correct and definite style. His illustrations could almost come from the same publishing houses where he "borrowed"his figures.

T. Catt's illustrations mainly show erotic pin-ups of female comic characters from DC, Marvel, Wildstorm,... universes to explicit sex scenes of characters from the movie world.

At the end of 2008 the CattHouse Studio project was finished by founder T. Catt.

Ein herausragendes Talent aus dem Gros der Online-Künstler ist der Zeichner T.Catt.

Sein Pseudonym ist als Hommage der Comicfigur "Bill the Cat" gewidmet. T.Catt ist ein "typischer" Vertreter der neuen Medien und Kommunikationsformen; sprich dem Internet. Wie schon eine Menge anderer Künstler, so hat auch T.Catt erste Versuche im Internet veröffentlicht; bessergesagt im Usernet. Ab 1996 tummelte er sich mit Gleichgesinnten im Channel "alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.cartoons". Sehr schnell fiel dort sein zeichnerisches Talent auf und die Fans forderten immer mehr Nachschub. Mehrere Jahre genoss er dort den "Ruhm" der Usergemeinde.

Doch nach ein paar Jahren verschlechterte sich das Klima im Usernet. Spams, Trolls und "Flame-Wars" vergällte vielen den Spaß sich mit Fans und Gleichgesinnten auszutauschen.

In dieser Zeit wurde T.Catt immer weniger im Usernet gesichtet und er verlegte seine freie Zeit ins Private. Er absolvierte sein College, zog in eine "große Stadt" und arbeitet dort als freier Illustrator. Sein Enthusiasmus für die "comeroticas" schlief in dieser Lebensphase nach und nach ein.

Das änderte sich erst um das Jahr 1999. T.Catt entdeckte die "Yahoo Groups". Diese neue Gemeinde mit Gleichgesinnten stachelte ihn wieder dazu an, Erotika zu zeichnen. Dort fand er neue Freunde und sehr bald entstand seine eigene Homepage. Ab dem Jahr 2000 suchte er für seine Zeichnungen zwei Mitarbeiter, die seine schwarz-weißen Zeichnungen in farbige Glanzstücke verwandeln sollten. So fanden die Zeichner T.Catt, Oni und Miravi zueinander. Zum Kreativ-Trio stießen noch die Zeichnern Creecher und Roadkill und gemeinsam bilden sie den Kern der CattHouse Studios.
In diesem Kreativ-Zentrum haben sich wahrlich eine Handvoll hervorragende Talente zusammengefunden.

Der Vorteil der Internet-Groups ist das unmittelbare Feedback und die künstlerische Freiheit des Darstellbaren. Geheime (Fan)-Wünsche sowie eigene Vorlieben können zwanglos bildliche Formen annehmen. Figuren der Comic und Filmwelt werden in erotische Abenteuer und Szenen geschickt, ohne beschränkenden Copyrights ausgeliefert zu sein. So werden erotische Illustrationen weiblicher Marvelhelden sicherlich keinen Verleger für ein offiziell gedrucktes Buch finden. Aber im "freien" WorldWideWeb ist eine solche Veröffentlichung kein Problem (zumindest noch nicht).

Vergleichbar mit den Arbeiten von Zimmerman hat T.Catt einen wunderbar sauberen, anatomisch korrekten und sicheren Stil. Seine Illustrationen könnten fast aus den selben Verlagshäusern stammen, bei denen er seine Figuren "entleiht".
T.Catts Illustrationen zeigen überwiegend erotische Pin-ups von weiblichen Comichelden aus den DC-, Marvel-, Wildstorm-,... Universen bis hin zu expliziten Sexszenen selbiger Figuren oder Charakteren aus der Kinowelt.

Ende 2008 wurde das CattHouse Studio Projekt von Gründer T.Catt beendet.
