Siehe dazu Beispiele unten.

Miguel Osuna Rodríguez, who lives in Spain,
In addition to the already "obligatory" publications in various La Cúpula publications, such as the magazine Kiss Comix, El Bute's American Eros Comix series Casual Sex draws attention to you. The five-part series contains around three to four short stories per issue. The exception is issue 5 with the 30-page story "The Curse of Steven Navarro".
Unfortunately, the american issues were only printed in black and white. So "Casual sex" suffers a similar fate in the english translation as Toni Greis with Alraune. Who wants to see "Casual Sex" in color, must get the spanish Kiss Comix/Wet-Comix editions. See examples below. Only the Eros Comix colour covers give a hint of Osunas qualities with brush and colour.
His ink line is often sketchy, but always confident in dealing with colour, form, light and shadow. His individual comic panels live through their richness of details and the multi-layered and interesting characters.
In addition to the erotic stuff, Osuna works mainly as an illustrator and cartoonist for newspapers and magazines. This caricature wit also flows into his erotic comic works.
In "Casual Sex" almost all male main and supporting actors are caricaturally overdrawn - in contrast to the female characters. Here, however, El Bute does not orientate itself towards common ideals of beauty, but draws women who are close to life in accordance with "nature". Voluminous, fleshy, with small imperfections and irregularities, they look especially beautiful and desirable.
In addition to his art of drawing, El Bute has a good feeling for erotic short stories. Of course, typical clichés and male fantasies flow into his works, but most of the time even these - at first glance - flat story hooks are enriched with a lot of profound humour, sarcasm and narrative wit.
"Casual sex" is a fun way to meet gripping sex, subtle narrative wit, and cartoon-like humor. This narrative wit is evidenced by the episode "This Life is gonna Kill me" from "Casual Sex 3", in which the artist installs himself.
For fairness' sake, it should be noted that not every story and every final gag ignites. Some episodes end very abruptly and some scenarios don't go beyond the usual sex comix cliché. But in the overall context, El Bute knows how to entertain.
Enumeration of casual sex short stories with some explanations
Issue 1: "A monkey eating lemons" - A humorous story about a childless couple who wants to have a child in a "natural way". The couple's choice falls on a young student who is about to leave town anyway. The real conflicts caused by jealousy, questions of conscience of the "sperm donor" are not simply pushed aside in a comic cliché-like manner, but rather addressed - and humorously resolved in the El Bute style. The juicy sex (otherwise one cannot describe the sex scenes) is not neglected and is not interrupted by the story itself disturbingly. "A special toast" - The thoughts of a young groom in the morning after his bachelor party. "What cums around goes around" "Strangers in the Night" - Very clichéd as a story hanger, but very humorous. Two students are wrestling around the night to brush for an exam. One of the two gets tired at some point and lets his buddy study alone. Feeling a human urge, he makes his way to the toilet. But also the sister of the sleeping friend is awake! Concluding gag: the next morning, the young man gives his professor a detailed report about this sleeper hour. Here, the man's imagination is very much in the hands of the professor, who is not exactly shocked by this.
Issue 2: "First Blood" - A pretty, public male fantasy. An incredibly pretty and hot girl speaks to a classmate about whether he can help her with her homework. Back home with her, the young man quickly realized that this was only a pretext. The final point, however, turns this fantasy scenario around with a sense of humour. "Carnal Awakening" - A young girl is finally at home alone and orders her boyfriend to come to her house. But her mother comes home surprisingly early. "Payback time" - Embarrassing. Charlie finally wants to be alone with his girlfriend Aka, but Johnny is still at home and even with two well-proportioned women. The girlfriend misinterprets the situation and runs out of the house. Charlie, angry but not averse, gets involved very quickly in the friend's threesome. Charlie's going to have problems the next day in a different way than you might think. Johnny's wives were two whores, paid out of Charlie's already empty coffers anyway... and Aka explains after a long time of thinking about her burnt down boyfriend, who is not at all reluctant to join the next group party.... to attend.
Issue 3: "Dragon Lady" - "A wicked woman" raped a young man on the bus, and then a man in the elevator. But only at the end it turns out who this "lady" is. Amusing and profound role reversal. "Virgin and Martyr" - is about a "helpful" woman who helps a young man to lose his virginity. She thinks...? "This Life is gonna Kill me" - This story is especially interesting because the artist El Bute has built himself into it. Truth and fiction meet.
Issue 4: "A Girl under the influence" - Two friends are getting closer to each other in a pleasant way. Beautiful lesbian sex fantasy! "After the Sky Falls" - a mystery fantasy sex posse. "Private September" - A young middle-aged woman orders a callboy home. Bad luck is, that the Callboy is a student of Mrs. Professor. But both of them will somehow agree very quickly. After all, their student is visually quite tasty... "Saturday Night Fever" - The last story comes along a bit flat. A man uses the opportunity on an unconscious woman lying in an elevator. That itself would still be under "nice fuck fantasy" to file. But the final gag seems trite. When the woman wakes up, she can't remember anything and notices only strange sperm stains on her panties. What a nightmare scenario actually means for most women, is only done with "Oops, what is that? Sperm? - Funny - How does it get to my pussy? But what a funny day, too...". On the other hand, this isn't a pure male fantasy... According to Nancy Friday, anyway.
Issue 5: "The Curse of Steven Navarro" - Issue 5 does not contain any short episodes, but features a 30-page story that tells the story of Steven Navarro's path of suffering. A burnt-out husband and father must recognize that his grown-up daughter goes her own way and his wife still has needs that have fallen asleep in her marriage routine. After humiliation, humiliation and controversy, he finds happiness in the arms of a new woman. But even this is not granted to him. El Bute shows in this comicbook his whole class as a artist AND author. The comix story is full of emotions and passion, as well as uninhibited sex. Porn with storyline! The sex scenes are not interrupted by the story and vice versa. Everything forms a harmonious whole. Tasty!
El Bute stands out from the flood of mediocre comix productions with his "Casual Sex"series and takes its place next to "erotic colleagues" such as Dee Chorde, Andre Sipp or Lanegra. |
